We’ll take the same approach looking for a plus money run line dog today when the Padres visit Arizona. We haven’t had three losing days in a row since May 18th so we’ll continue to fight today and try even the week up.
I like the value we’re getting here today. Yu Darvish is having a great season but he takes a step back sometimes on the road. He’s 1-5 in his last five starts away from San Diego. He has a 4.03 ERA on the road and only has thrown 25% quality starts on the highway.

Here’s an interesting trend, and I always say I take trends with a grain of salt, but interesting to note the Padres have dropped 11 of their last 12 meetings in Arizona. Albeit, only two of those 12 games were this year, so keep in mind rosters change year to year which I way I put hardly any stock in trends. They are interesting at the least though.
Again this is a pure value play, we’re getting +1.5 runs at plus money and if I feel there is value there I’m all over it.
